I use a Light Elegance hard gel, it is one of the most hypo allergenic gels on the market and made right here in Oregon!! This gel adds strength to the natural nail or you can add extensions for length. Upon finishing I will re-hydrate skin with gluten and paraben free herbal extract Hempz lotion. Finally give life back to your cuticles with an amazing organic botanical blend Entity cuticle oil. This process is done by laying gel then curing in a U.V. light. Fills are done every 2-3 weeks.
File, cuticle work and a warm soak with a citrus scrub a relaxing massage with gluten and paraben free herbal extract Hempz lotion then a paraffin treatment that hydrates deep into the dermis for a longer softer feel to the skin, great for people that have extremely dry or scaly skin or people who suffer from arthritis and carpel tunnel, then end with a beautiful polish finish.
Paraffin wax treatment~
Glycolic serum application~
This gentle, non-abrasive exfoliant utilizes all-natural glycolic acid—derived from sugar cane—to dissolve dry surface skin cells and stimulate cell renewal. Specially formulated with a Ph level of 3.5 and 7% glycolic acid for maximum efficiency.
Apply a small amount to each hand or foot and gently smooth over skin until completely absorbed. Cover entire area thoroughly, focusing on rough, dry or calloused areas.
Heat therapy The wax used in paraffin treatments is a soft type which melts without burning the skin. When the melted wax is applied to the hands and feet, the gentle and even heat increases blood flow and relaxes the muscles. The result is relief from joint stiffness and pain, as well as increased range of motion. This is an effective therapy if you suffer from ailments like arthritis or tendonitis, or if you’ve overworked your hands, leading to soreness and fatigue.
Skin softening and rejuvenation During the colder months, our skin is prone to drying out and cracking as a result. The most severe conditions end up in chronic swelling and infections. Paraffin treatments can help prevent this by softening the skin and removing dead cells. This eventually increases skin elasticity and facilitates movement in the affected hand.
